The Sentries of Ibara

he Esteros Ibara is a large marsh and lake complex in Argentina similar to the Pantanal in Brazil, but slightly smaller. It is also less visited. The best access is from the small town of Colonia Carlos Pellegrinne. If you want to visit, have one of the motels pick you up in the town of Posadas. The road in can become impassable and people have been known to be stranded on the road for up to three days.
