Servant Dining

The John Overstreet House is an 1860's era farm house now located in the Pioneer Florida Museum & Village in Dade City, Florida. It is one of the oldest wood frame structures still standing in Pasco County. The kitchen was separated from the main house by a breezeway to keep the heat from cooking there and away from the main structure. The kitchen was also separated fromthe main house in case a fire started there. This is where the servants ate.

Pasco County Courthouse

The Pasco County Courthouse. designed in classical revival style by architect Edward Columbus Hosford, was built in 1909 in Dade City, Florida.
